Information for Educators

As an educator, you know – perhaps from experience, maybe from research – that your students do better academically when their parents are involved at school. But not every parent feels comfortable or welcome at his or her child’s school.

Some may be harboring 20-year-old fears of walking into the principal’s office or addressing a teacher. Those who lack education themselves o

r are learning English may feel intimidated in the school setting. Exhausted, overworked parents may shy away from visiting the classroom because of burdensome procedures, bureaucratic hassles or a brusque reception.

You can change that, and you’ve come to the right place to find tools and training that will facilitate and enhance relationships between parents and their children’s schools, building confidence and knowledge about partnering with you in the education of their children.
